Looks Like Film, one of our absolute favorite photography sites, recently came out with a list of the top 20 wedding venues in Colorado…and guess what?! Our image of Victoria and Andrew’s intimate wedding at the Denver Botanic Gardens made the list!
If you’ve never checked out the Botanic Gardens, go now! It’s seriously one of the most gorgeous places to wander through. Sure, Colorado is known for its epic mountain venues (and we absolutely adore those!), but we love that this city venue is getting the love that it deserves.
Victoria and Andrew had their ceremony at the Woodland Mosaic ceremony spot. It’s this historic little glass building resembling a greenhouse that sits on the edge of the property. You might miss it if you’re not intentionally looking for it, but when you do, it’ll become clear why this spot is such a showstopper.
It’s the perfect little ceremony spot for intimate weddings (and can host up to 50 guests for a ceremony and 40 for a standing reception), so if you’re looking to keep your wedding on the smaller side, this location is perfect.
It has the charm of a fairytale, with fragrant blooms artfully dotted around the perimeter of the greenhouse. While the gardens can get pretty busy — particularly on weekends — the Woodland Mosaic’s location on the edge of the gardens allows for it to feel much more secluded. It’s such a unique little spot — from the architecture to the natural surroundings — making it an amazing location for an intimate wedding ceremony. We’ve also included a few additional photos of the inside of the Woodland Mosaic below.
P.S. As Colorado elopement and adventure wedding photographers, we pride ourselves on not just documenting your elopement or small wedding, but helping you plan out all the little details as well — like helping you figure out the perfect time of year for your Colorado elopement.
Sure, we pride ourselves in taking killer photos of killer people in killer places, but we’re firm believers that your adventure wedding photographer should be so much more than that. They should be a resource and guide to you during the whole adventure elopement planning process. So if that sounds like your vibe, we’d love to chat with you about your dream adventure elopement.

The Colorado Rockies are our home. We know these mountains like the back of our hand, and we love helping our couples plan their Colorado adventure elopements. Our land is your land, peeps. so let’s get you mountain married!
We specialize in photographing small adventure weddings in the great outdoors. We believe small weddings empower couples to be themselves on their wedding day, which is what makes us so honored to be a part of them. There’s nothing better.
We like to say we’re adventurers first, photographers second. Which frankly, is what we think makes us good at what we do. We live and breathe the outdoors lifestyle, and we make sure our adventure wedding photos show off your adventurous side too.
Not everyone loves tradition, but that doesn’t make your adventure wedding or elopement any less important.
