I have had the absolute pleasure of watching Nick and Christina do life together for the past five years. From when these two cuties first started dating during college to where they are now (soon to be MARRIED, say what?!), I am so glad that they have chosen us to come along for the ride and document their love story. I honestly couldn’t be more excited to photograph their gorgeous fall wedding this November.
If you guys can’t already tell, these two lovelies were practically born to be in front of the camera. I had so much fun shooting their at-home engagement photos. We began the session with two cups of coffee, a blanket, and a good book and from there just allowed these two to really sink into each other and be in their element.
I’m a firm believer that your engagement photos shouldn’t feel stiff or overly posed, which is why I’m such a huge fan of the in-home style sessions. They’re the perfect opportunity for you and your partner to curl up and just exist together. Maybe it’s the fact that you don’t have to get dressed up. Or maybe it’s knowing that the only work you have to do is cuddle up with each other. Either way, at-home engagement photos always seem to bring the magic with them.
P.S. As an adventure elopement and adventure wedding photographer, I pride myself on not just documenting your small wedding, but helping you navigate all the little details as well — like helping you figure out the perfect time for you to take your at-home engagement photos. I believe your photographer should be a resource and guide to you during the engagement process.
